The PLANET FGSW-2620VSF provides 24 10/100Mbps Fast Ethernet ports and 2 Gigabit Ethernet ports, either TP or SFP per port. The two Gigabit ports either can be 1000Base-T for 10/100/1000Mbps or 1000Base-SX/LX through SFP (Small Factor Pluggable) interface. The distance can be extended from 100 meters (TP), 550 meters (Multi-mode), up to above 10 kilometers (Single-mode).
FGSW-2620VSF equipped with non-blocking 8.8Gbps backplane greatly simplifies the tasks of upgrading your LAN for catering to increased bandwidth demands.
For efficient management, FGSW-2620VSF Web Smart Switch is equipped with console and Web interface. The two Web Smart Switches can be programmed for basic switch management functions such as port speed configuration, Port Trunking, VLAN, Port Mirroring, QoS, bandwidth control, and Misc Configuration.
The FGSW-2620VSF provides port-based VLAN (including overlapping). The VLAN groups allowed on the 2 switches will be maximally up to 26 for port-based VLAN. Via supporting port trunking, FGSW-2620VSF allows the operation of a high-speed trunk combining multiple ports. FGSW-2620VSF also provides seven groups of up to 4-ports for trunking, and it supports fail-over as well.
Workgroup Switch
With 24 10/100Mbps ports and up to 2 optional copper or Gigabit-Ethernet fiber ports, the switches provide a cost-effective, high-performance solution for power users.
Department Switch
With its 8.8 Gigabits per second, non-blocking switch fabric, FGSW-2620VSF can easily provide a local, high bandwidth, Fast Ethernet network for backbone of your department. With the two SFP ports, the FGSW-2620VSF provides the uplink to the backbone network through Gigabit Ethernet SX/LX SFP modules.
